I have always liked to cook. I always used to fix dinner for all the guys that traveled with me when I worked for Boeing. A few years back my daughter bought me a Dutch Oven for father's day. I liked her present , but it sat for about 2 years. I have a family member that cooked with Dutch Ovens. He started teaching me somethings about the care and cooking of Dutch Ovens, and I was hooked! So for the last few years, I have been cooking for family and my High School classmates with my Dutch Ovens. The rest of my learning has been reading articles on the internet, books, and trial and error. I want to help others learn how to use their Dutch Ovens and not be intimidated by them. I have a strong desire to share my excitement on cooking with Dutch Ovens.
Dutch Oven cooking will be demonstrated and small samples given to those interested. This will really demonstrate how anyone can have fun with Dutch Oven cooking, as the demonstrators will be everyone from very experienced cooks all the way to beginners.

Open to anyone interested in Dutch Oven Cooking. Anyone contributing a Dutch Oven cooked dish to the meal is welcome. Come share your favorite recipes with other cooks.
